Off subject question
How do you set the sheet Tab color ?? ie from Excel alone

Right click on the tab and select tab color.

austenr is correct, but I'd like to add that this feature wasn't added to excel until version 2002. The color can't be changed (afaik) in prior versions.

I do not believe I have ever seen a spreadsheet with colored tabs; but I have never upgraded to V2002 or XP or whatever, so that explains it.
I suspect that colored tabs would be pretty useful.

ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("RelevantName").Tab.ColorIndex = relevantcolourIndex

Actually, you can change the color in versions below 2002! :yes Just use a little API.
