Lost Thread! Open Word File and Copy Contents

My previous thread has been lost after the latest site recovery :( One of the expert members posted a perfect solution to my problem and I hadn't copied the code. Cannot believe it! I hope he reads this and has a copy of his post (so sorry, have forgotten his name)

I need a Word macro to prompt a user to select another Word document and to then copy a section of text between two text markers ("START" and "END") from the selected doc. I know this is basic for most VBA writers on this forum but I am having such trouble.

Can anyone please help?

The code would have been in the email message VBA Express sent you. Didn't you at least keep a copy of that? I'd rather not have to start over, besides which, I don't have your original problem specification.
