View Full Version : How to generate Crystal Report (SAP BO BI) using Excel VBA?

Can someone please help me how to generate Crystal Report using Excel VBA?

I have only following details

URL : http abc0rr42 / BOE / BI
System : abc0rr43a:6400
User Name: User123
Password: Pass123
Authentication: Windows AD

After login and I do following steps to generate report manually
1) Click on "Documents" tab
2) Click on "Folders"
3) Navigate to folder "Public Folders > App > AutoReports > Mylocation > MyLocation - Operations "
4) Open "My Employee Data" Crystal File
5) Input - Start Date (01/01/2014), End date (30/01/2014) & Plant ID (NFC_ID_IND)
6) Click on "OK" to generate the report (it will take 5-10 mins)
7) Click on "Export this report" button
8) Select file format "Microsoft Excel (97-2003) Data Only" - Page Range: All Pages
9) Click on "Export" button
10) Save the "Excel File" to local drive.

Any help will save my but here

Posted This Questions in following forums as well, as this is a killer problem I am facing and didn't find any sort of solution in google
excelforum mrexcel ozgrid - could not post links.

Will update once I get the solution.

Is it really impossible to generate Crystal Reports from Excel?
