How are things goin in the lifesavin biz?

Oh, ya know, same ol' same ol'. Had a reeealy bad accident on the 4th, had to life flight 4 people.

Other than that, I was promoted to Training Officer. :) So I'm taking over the training program for the entire department. It'll be fun, although I was already partly in that department I was only an Assistant. Time will tell if that was a good move or not. ;)

But besides that, it's been eerily slow.. It's going to be a very dry summer so we'll probably stay pretty busy.

CONGRATS ON THE PROMOTION!!!! I gotta say, guy, you really deserve it. Between you and my brothers, I don't really know how you guys do it everyday. I've been under enemy fire once in my life, but the thought of doing what you guys do everyday...... FORGET IT.

It's been really hot and dry here in the Valley too. Really feels like weather your way. Gotta be dangerous for you guys. Keep your eyes open and your head down.

Been thunder/lightning all night. Luckily it's been accompanied with rain, so all the fires put themselves out.

Supposed to be more dry lightning this weekend, so we'll see. :)
