macro to attach file to word document

Hello,

I am just new in vba programming and I want to try to create a Service Request Template where I put a command button to attach any file related to the customer's request.

The idea that I want is just like the usual. A window will pop up to select the file and it will be attached to the template.

Any idea?

Attach a file how? How is the Service Request to be used?
You don't 'attach files' to documents or templates to documents. Documents may be created from templates, but attaching an existing template to a document does not include the text from that template. You may include all or part of the contents of a document or even embed a document as an object, but 'attach'?
Attachments are added to e-mail messages.
What EXACTLY are you trying to do?
