I have got this code from http://www.rondebruin.nl/win/s3/win008.htm
which will copy a range of cells from different workbooks and paste in another master book one below the other,

For e.g. as of now it is pasting in column "B' check this line of code, Set destrange = BaseWks.Range("B" & rnum) but the next time I run the macro the values should paste in next column, i.e column C

So it should check if column B has values it should move to next column that is column C. OR

Can we edit this code that if I place a cursor whereever I want it should paste the data, as of now it is stubborn ONLY pasting in column B.

if I run the above code again it overwrites the data.

Any help will be appreciated

Put this in the code before the line Set destrange = BaseWks.Range("B" & rnum)

Dim strCol As String
strCol = InputBox("Please enter the column")
Also amend code from Set destrange = BaseWks.Range("B" & rnum) to

Set destrange = Range(strCol & rnum)
MsgBox strCol & rnum

Now you can input the column letter when running the macro - the message box will tell you where macro will copy to

Set destrange = Cells(rnum, ActiveCell.Column)

should use the selected column
