Locking a textbox in PowerPoint with VBA

I am wondering if anyone has ever managed to lock a 'selected' textbox in PowerPoint with VBA?

Curious to hear from the Experts on this topic!

You can only do this with XML. If you also have vba I wouldn't recommend doing this at all as any attempt to change a locked shape will crash.
