I have noticed some strange behaviour in the Access VBE. Heck, I have noticed strange behaviours in all VBEs, but this is different ...
In all VBEs (I think) when a statement is flagged as bogus (in red) and it contains one or more continuation characters ( "_" ), they seem to disappear when you click on the OK button to make corrections. This has always bothered me as there is no legitimate reason for the VBE to do this. The Access VBE seems to take this a step further. It deletes any continuation characters; but it also deletes any plus signs ( "+" ) -- but leaves ampersands ( "&" ) alone.
Any idea why?
