My security is set per the subject line. I write a lot of code so most of my templates and documents are .dotm/.docm format and I save most files to a trusted locations e.g. D:\My Documents
I notice today, after using Word for 25 years ;-), that if I save a .docm format document to an untrusted location and the open it, I ill get the expected notification that macros are disabled and then get the opportunity to enable them.
However, if then close and later reopen the document the notification does not appear and macros are automatically enabled. Is this the by design behavior? Where can I read up one the macro security features and how they are intended to be employed?
