Link Tables ODBC Connection Error

I have a couple of tables I link to in an access program I built. Each time I open the program and try to view the linked table I get an ODBC connection failed error. I then have to relink these tables and everything works fine until I close the program and reopen at which time the problem repeats itself. How do I set the tables to automatically link when opening the program?

When linking the table do you have to enter a user name and password? Is yes, are you checking the box for the option to save the password?

Did you try going into your "Link Table Manager" under the External Data tab? Open it and see if "Always prompt for new location" is checked. Uncheck it and try again.
