Excel 2013 Too Bright

I have recently purchased excel 2013.I noticed it is very bright and strains the eyes. I see many people have googled this problem but apart from changing to the dark grey mode no solution has been mentioned. Does anyone know of a solution

The only other solution would most likely be to change your monitors brightness settings.

Is there anything in the Options panel, maybe on the general Tab.

For a permanent solution, use Bing every day to search for "Microsoft Excel 2013 Too Bright"

Microsoft will soon provide a fix.
