Hi good people!,

I can't help but feel a little daft just thinking what I'm about to ask for...:(. Instead of having a dropdown going through about 30 dates, was wondering if a type of VBA slider could be created to simulate the different selections...so instead of clicking along the range, slide along it....or ANY other method maybe that would take the hassle out of clicking and selecting in the dropdown menus?...

You could probably use a scrollbar, or perhaps a listbox (a bit like a dropdown but is permanently dropped-down when you can click on your choice) or perhaps a small macro to respond to the cell you click on (you could even have it respond to where you hover the mouse, but that's a bit involved).
In any event, an example file showing what you're after would save us guessing wrongly what you have/want.

First, thanx for replying...

I work in a casino. I have created a floorplan with cells border lined to indicate machine position. The cells are conditional formatted with red/green scale. Machine cells high-lite depending on performance, with darkest red, the poorest performing and greenest, best performing. Data had been inputted in a "database" (Same spreadsheet) for a 30 day period. The machine cells high-lite in relation to the performance data for the selected date. I am trying to get a "smooth" operation so that the eye can visually see how performance changed for the machines over the 30 day period.
To advance the date by dropdown is "slow", and , well, not smooth. I hope it is possible by what I have explained to see the picture.

A file would be a lot lot better - obfuscate values if it's sensitive, or Private Message me here for a private email address to send it to, but I'm not going to start recreating what I think your spreadsheet is like because (a) it'a a lot of work and (b) from past experience I'll get it all wrong.

Two controls beneath your floorplan, just delete the one you hate more.
