View Full Version : Need to copy specific text from open word doc, to excel in a row

Hi there,

Please could you assist me.

I need to be able to copy text from an OPEN word document into a excel spreadsheet to form a row. There can be multiple pages in the word doc, but is always the same layout and format. I need page1 to go into a row, page 2 to go into row 2, and so on. there is usually only a maximum of 5 rows to be generated from a Word Doc.

Is this possible with VBA ?

Could someone help me if I provide the source document?

If you save the worddocument as csv; you can open it in Excel.

It's only small extracts of text I need to copy over. Additionally these texts will often have commas in them.
