When I try to import the mailboxes from Eudora 6.0.3.0 to Outlook 2003, I
get an "Import Error", "The mail folder could not be opened. If another
application is using this file, please close it and try again/".

Eudora is not running.
The format of Eudora 6 mailboxes is the same as that of earlier versions.

How do I import the critters into Outlook 2003?

Hi Howard,

I'm not sure if it possible but is there an option to save Eudoras mailboxes into textfiles and then import them to OL?

Personally I use a rather unknown e-mailclient - PocoMail but that's another story.

Kind regards,
Dennis

Outlook is supposed to be able to directly import Eudora mail.

Eudora, and many other programs, use a standard Sendmail file format.

Import them into Outlook Express then export form OE to Outlook. :yes

Use its import wizard:
