Hi Folks!

I have been searching and trying my best, but I cant figure this one out.

can you do it?

I have a main sheet with a lot of info, and twice a week I receive new numbers to be included in the list, if not already there!

how can I check if the number is NOT there and then include it at the button with the right "tag" which go a long with it?

It would also be awesome, if I could get some kind of "report" of which numbers are to be included in the mainlist.

Please see my att. file with the best description possible.

Cheers in advance guys.

You said:

This is my Main list with numbers.
The numbers I have in column E are connected as follows

Row 1: "NAC BB8" is valid for "288" how I know is stated in column G "NAC"
(NAC BB numbers from 1-32)

Row 2: "PCM BB11" is valid for "297" how I know is stated in column G "PCM" and this goes on
(PCM BB numbers from 2-33)

New numbers to be checked, if they are NOT in the MAIN_LIST, are below PCM_NEW_LIST and NAC_NEW_LIST.

All 3 sheets are in the same workbook.

Is there a way to get this fixed with VBA?
and is it possible to get the numbers included in the mainlist at the bottom?

NAC BB8 =:> Column C
288 =:> Column E

Why are we interested in any other columns than E and G?

Also:A brief scan of the New Numbers sheets indicates that numbers are not duplicated on the two sheets.

Please show us a sheet with some of the new numbers added to the main sheet.

For instance, if I were to code this with only the information you have given so far, I would just add the numbers to Column E and the NAC/PCM to column G below the current data on the Main sheet, leaving all other columns empty

Hi,

I have tried to describe it a bit better, please see updated file in attachment.

Maybe this will help, But what you are suggesting is actually what I need, at least in my mind ;-)

Please rename your file without gutter words and reattach it. We are an international bunch of family people.

Thank you.

PS: Sorry for making you do this extra work.
