Have been using an automated workbook for past 3 years to gather information. There are a number of macros built into the workbooks which until now have worked successfully. I have saved 395 workbooks over the years. The work books were originally excel 97 2003 and I have been using excel 2016 for past six months with no problem. Now suddenly the code is missing from every workbook on my laptop. Any ideas why this should happen? Luckily I did a backup not so long ago and the workbooks on the external drive still have the code in them.
