HI all,

I'd like to use PPT as a Menu. I designed a menu-page with interactive buttons to jump to other pages.
These other pages represent different patterns (e.g. different flow-charts) which I have to use in my daily work.

My first question is: Why is it only possible to use the interactive buttons in presentationmode only. When I'd like to press a interactive button I fist have to switch to the presentation mode. I am looking for a way to avoid this. Could anybody provide an easier way? Is is also possible to use interactive buttons when your not in presentation mode?

Seconds qustion: When I exit the presentation mode PPT shows the slide fom which I startet the presentation mode . But I want to have the last slide from where I quit the presentation mode. How could I achieve this?

Regards
Mio

The way to do this is to create RIBBON buttons with XML. Not that simple for a beginner but there is a basic tutorial on our site.

http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/custom_UI.html

It's for 2007 but will work in later versions.
