Hi.
I have a project that stores Macro code in the Personal Workbook: "PERSONAL.XLSB"
A user's workstation found this file to be corrupt; pop-ups indicated problems reading the file.
I browsed to the filepath "C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART" and deleted PERSONAL.XLSB.
I then created the Personal workbook again from scratch by way of macro -> record -> in personal workbook.
I replace the recorded code with my project code.
The buttons in the Ribbon no longer fire the macros, nor do they produce an error. As a test, I created a new tab in the ribbon and recreated a few buttons, just to see if clean copies work. They don't.
As a test, I associated a subroutine with Ctrl+n, to see if that works. Keystrokes do in fact execute the macros in the Personal workbook.
I have tried rebooting, etc. I am running Windows 7 and MS Office Professional 2013.
Does anyone know why the Ribbon UI would no longer register clicks and associate them with macros?
