Hello,
I am looking for help to create a macro that will copy a set of original tasks and paste them in the right location so I can track deliverables for a new Purchased Part.
In my attachment, you will find a series of tasks that belong to New Part. I want to make a copy of those tasks in D2 and D3, so that each time I hit the AddNewPart macro on my ribbon, MS Project adds this set of tasks right after the Part I was already working on. That set of tasks for the NewPart has to be at the same Indent Level as the Part I am already working on and I have to be able to add as many New Parts as I have to track during the course of my project.
I said original tasks because as I work on the project, I may be aware of new parts after I started updating those tasks, therefore I need a set of tasks for a new part but those tasks have to be the original ones, without any changes I have made.
Any questions, please let me know!
