Mail Merge or Bulk Email

Every day I send out an email with the next day's schedule to a large group of recipients using Outlook 2016 (between 250 and 300 recipients). The email has two attachments (the schedule in .docx and PDF format).

MY exchange server doesn't allow this number of recipients, or so I was told by my predecessor, so I have created three distribution lists and currently I send the email three times using resend, one after the other.

The message is not personalized. I have an outlook template and update the date in the subject and body of the email, add any necessary announcements and attach the documents.

The current system isn't bad, just a tiny bit inefficient and there's always the risk of doing something silly like addressing everyone using CC instead of BCC.

Question 1: How do I discover if I really can't send an email to all recipients at once? I don't want to risk sending the email twice.

Question 2: Would a mail merge be a better solution?

Question 3: Is there a way to send all three emails using a macro instead of manually clicking resend, deleting everyone in BCC (resending unpacks all the distribution lists) and selecting the next email list?

Question 4 (Bonus): Can I save the template to automatically insert tomorrow's date in the subject (DAY, MM/DD/YY) and body (DAY, MONTH DATE, 2017)?

Create an Excel data file with a header row at Row 1 and all the recipients as separate records. Create a covering message in Word (with or without personalisation - see the web page linked below). Then use http://www.gmayor.com/ManyToOne.htm to merge the records in One to One mode into that document with the added attachments. The process sends to the messages to a draft folder so you can check them before sending. You can define the subject from the dialog

Thanks, I'll have a look at this. It may be more than I need and it's also possible my admin won't let me install it (permission required for executables), but it's good to know where to look.
