Hi
My custom word xml addin has stopped loading after latest O365 fasttrack update. It has worked for 10 years in all Word 2007 2010 2013 but in 2016 today throws a macro error and won't load.

Any ideas please?

I cannot get to vba because it won't load.

Greg Maxey would be familiar with my custom xml vba filenew.dotm.

Sorry but Greg does not recall your template. Why don't you post it so we can all look at it.

What folder is the add in located in?

Is that a Trusted Location?

19477Yes Paul I've used this on my laptops for 11 years. Only changes are Win 10 Insider Preview updates and Office 365 Pro FastTrack updates on Saturday. Then my Word addin would not load.

I've checked my trusted locations and everything else I can think of.

I have taken a copy of the template VBA modules and will rebuild it. The copy is on a Business/Home Office 2016 installation and the template loads this morning Tuesday 13 June.

Crazy.

Thanks Paul

Hi Greg

You assisted me in adding the OpenFiles Tab with code that was already written. I paid for your time Greg. I don't care to share my code at this point in time.

I will rebuild another template from another site and see what is going on if it lets me load it on my laptop.

I assume no one is running FastTrack Office 365 Pro or Win10 Insider?

Many thanks Greg.

jec1,

I don't doubt you, I just can't remember.

Thank you everyone for suggestions.

On one network with Office 2010 the addin still loads in Word and Windows 7.

On another network with Home/Business Office 365 2016 the addin still loads Windows 7

But on my laptop running E3 Office 365 Pro Plus FastTrack with Windows 10 Insider it won't load the Custom XML and errors.

I will check my options in Word which I have not changed but FastTrack may have updated them.

Thank you.
