Dynamic Crosstab report

I found the help files on dynamic crosstab reports but I wasnt really able to make sense of them.

I am trying to create a report of sales per site for each period which is 4 weeks. there is a fiscal year and 13 periods in a week.
I need the report to give me the total for the past nine months off of the crosstab query.

What kind of information should i provide here for someone to be able to help me to put this thing together?

With the size restrictions it's difficult to attach even a small database on the forum, but it would help if you could attach a small sample of your data with the correct field and table names, and perhaps a sample of your end result in an XL spreadsheet.

i will work on putting something together. i need to concentrate on something else right now at work but i will post it after thanksgiving weekend.
