Hi all http://vbaexpress.com/forum/images/smilies/039.gif

I just wanted to inform that I've started a new project. A discussion forum about specific areas of developing & projects I find to be of interest.

People who knows me will not be surprised when they see the content and the fact that some of the more general and typical forum's aspect simple does not exist http://vbaexpress.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif

I have no intention to "compete" with any of the existing general Excel-forums only to create a spot on the internet that set focus on some stuff that may or may not be of interest for You.

Anyway, here is the link to it and it does not contain any "whistle and bells":

Hi Dennis :hi:

I look forward to seeing how the discussions develop - I liked the use of the phrase "how the real business life is constructed" - it's always interesting to get points of view from real world implementations of specific methods and techniques and I think that when Office 12 comes along, there'll be a lot of new territory to explore!

Killian,

Thanks for Your support :)

I have no clue what the outcome will be of the project but I want to give it a try to cross some borders.

From my point of view the key issue will not be Office 12, not for corporates although it will certainly challenge all end-users and developers :help

The next version of Sharepoint Server, BizTalk Server 2006, SQL Server 2005, datawarehousing and perhaps also the Server version of Excel 12 will set the standard for the coming years for many corporates. Among the Office softwares Outlook seems to be the #1 main driver to upgrade.

But hey - I'm just a simple man and do not know anything about the big world so therefore I decided to open a new "window" to the world ;)

Please use Your real name if You want to registrate Youself as a member. I do not use my own alias and I do not support the use of alias at the forum.

Kind regards,
