View Full Version : To search a column in a database and to return all the entries found

I have a database of about 300 products with about 45 different attributes (in 45 columns)
I have created a front sheet and using vlookups I am able to search on the Product Code (in the first column) and return the most common attributes into a form.

The products are sold to about 10 major retailers - and I want to find a way of searching through the Retailer column and a list returns showing all the matching products to the selected retailer.
Just showing back the Product Code and Product Name would suffice.

Is this possible to do?

Please provide a workbook so that we don't guess wrongly your layout, and if there's a form - include that too.

Have you looked at using a pivot table?
