View Full Version : Manage Office ADD-ins. Active/Inactive Application Add-ins

Hi
I setup word_macros.dot on network drive and has been working OK for years now. Last week I setup a new server and moved from domain to work group. After the setup word_macros.dot works fine until I restart Word. Every time after opening the application (Word) the word_macros.dot shows in Inactive Application Add-ins list. To move it back to Active Application Add-ins list I have to get to Manage/word add-ins, ... Templates and Add-ins/Global templates ... /Checked items are currently loaded, ... and check the box for word_macros.dot.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Some time ago I produced an add-in for Word 2007 and later to manage add-in templates from different folders to aid working with file sets from several clients.
http://www.gmayor.com/load_word_addins.htm. You may find it useful. I would also suggest (with these Word versions) that you SAVEAS word_macros.dot to word_macros.dotm.
