I thought I wanted to add a custom tab to the ribbon for all documents but then decided against it. I went into the Custom UI editor and removed the custom module and went into VBA and removed all the related code/modules/forms etc. but now it's still coming up with the tab and giving me error messages because it can't find the relevant code. :crying: How do I reset it back to normal!?

I've tried turning the computer off and on again. :dunno

Rename or delete the normal template with Word closes and Word will create a new one.
Next time create an add-in template to add your custom tab to the ribbon http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tip_pages/customize_ribbon_main.html

Thanks Graham, but that doesn't seem to have worked. My normal template is now showing as a . BAK file and the customised ribbon is still showing on opening a new blank document.

EDIT: Sorry, nevermind, the new version of the template was saved in a different folder, when I moved it, it fixed the problem as you said it would. Thank you!
