Does Outlook have a feature where I can stop emails from coming through that have attachments? If so do you know if it gives the person an error message or a bounce back so they know the email did not go through? We are trying to teach people to stop emailing personal documents, but to use our ShareFile tool.

The recipient can stop the messages with a rule that identifies messages with attachments and deletes those messages and sends a proforma reply based on a message template that you would need to create.

The sender can be prevented from sending them with a macro that intercepts the send command to establish if there are attachments and either delete the attachments or fail to send it with a warning. All the users would have to be supplied with this macro and they could by-pass it.
