Hello!
A friend of mine designed an evaluation excel workbook and encrypted it not to be opened by other persons excepting him. Unfortunately, he edited a strong password but wasn’t as careful as he should be. He applied it on the original sample without saving a copy, and transcribed later the code incorrectly. Giving the big trouble he met, is any possibility to apply a macro from an excel spreadsheet that could remove / unlock the password, or save a fresh accessible copy of the original sample, so that he may get it back?

Thank you!
Vladimir A.

Sorry, but the rules of the forum do not permit helping unlock workbooks, even your own

I don't think many people can access that first link now. ;)

True - because it's been made inaccessible due to a rules violation @ MrExcel also.
