Hi All,

I have some trackers in excel sheets and there are several users who fills them in, and every user fills the dates in a different format. Sometimes they will just write 10mar and the excel does not recognise it as a date and therefore does not format it.

Is there any way, that if the user clicks on the cell either a small calendar pops up or Excel will not let them add the date in a wrong format?

I know for the first option, there is something like date picker, but I did not manage to install it on my mac. I also found some kind of xtools calendar /or mini calendar, but I do not want to have the calendar shown until somebody click on the appropriate cell.

Thank you very much for your help!

Michal

What is the format that you want? You could use Data Validation. That would force users to insert a date in the correct format.
