Future of VBA

I'm wondering where is VBA heading? How do you see its future? Will be obsolete? Will it die?

That's a bit like asking what the weather will be like next year...

It is highly unlikely VBA will be going away. They said that about COBAL and other languages, but look at them now...they are alive and well but have "grown up" a lot.

VBA is the basic interface for all of the Microsoft products and many other programs as well.

I cannot imagine it going away.
