Hi.

Its a long time since I used this forum. Has the site blocked pasting example code in? It will not allow code to be pasted between code tags.

I am wondering is there a script, or example to perform the following:

1 - search directory based upon the word, 'east book'*zip,
2 - extract, and open the latest published eastbook*zip .xlsx within?

There are multi folders to search within, and each day a new file with the date is published to the months folder with the date making up the file name, hence i only want to seach on the first part of the file name.

I would paste my current script that does not work, but the site seems to not allow me to paste at all.

Any help is appreciated

regards.

To post your code, use the HASH ( # ) mark from the menu. You'll paste your code between the two
HTML markups that appear after clicking on the HASH symbol.

If your code has the 'left pointing arrow' and / or the 'right pointing arrow' , make certain there is a space before and after the arrow symbol, otherwise
it might be interpreted as HTML and won't be permitted. Causes problems trying to post your code.

The arrow symbols (less than / greater than) are on the comma and period keys.
