I have sheet 2 with a screen shot and then sheet 3 with a screen shot
sheet 3 screen shot might be the same as sheet 2 or different
is there a vba that can compare the 2 sheets's screen shots and on sheet 1 confirm if they are the same or not

VBA is able to tell you if they are the same size, the same format (jpg, gif, etc.) ... but that is about all.

one idea. read binary data through clipboard, then confirm whether the binary data are the same.

Not sure what you mean. I can interpret your words in 2 ways:

You want to compare the contents of 2 worksheets, called 'Sheet2' and 'Sheet3', cell by cell. For the purpose of comparison you made a screenshot of both sheets, and now these screenshots are stored in jpg files somewhere on your hard drive.
You have images inserted into both Sheet2 and Sheet3. These images happen to be screenshots, but it's irrelevant, they could be photos or whatever else, the only important thing now is that they are images. And you want to compare these images by content.


Is any of the above interpretations correct?
