In political correct USA, it is sometimes deemed politically incorrect to say "Merry Christmas", so here is my "politically correct" greeting: Blessed God-made-flesh celebration.

I think that works! :D

I guess no one sees the irony and humor. This should help.

Merry Christmas!

YES! I see the irony and humour! Sorry for not mentioning it earlier! :D

I, of course, immediately saw the irony and humor. We are sick to death of it. I am also sick of hearing we celebrate at the wrong time of year--heck, most of our holidays aren't celebrated on the right day. And the Jews only get it right every 46 years, huh? LOL (No offense to any Jews! It's just a joke!).

So I just wish for all of you, all the time, that you feel love in your heart for others. It's the greatest drug of all. And it's addictive and contagious. But perhaps that's not politically correct either? Well, here's some...

And a few jokes (okay...over 600!)...

Merry Christmas to all!!! For those who don't like that then... Don't have a Merry Christmas.

On a serious note though, I want to let everyone know how much I have enjoyed this forum. I joined VBAExpress just over a month ago as I searched for answers to automating some procedures. The site and people have been extremely helpful (coming from a CICS/Cobol/JCL background, I don't always follow the syntax let alone how to get things done).

I have read several of the post just attempting to understand some solutions before I get to the problems. But what is amazing is how much everyone here is like family. Looking to help each other out, sharing accomplishments (with code as well as personal accomplishments), and supporting each other... I have to say I am impressed and glad to be here!:beerchug:

Thanks,
Gregor

This site is great because of it's members. So we thank you for being a part of that membership Gregor. Wishing you and yours a very merry christmas, and a happy new year. :yes

I joined a bit earlier than that, May I think, so this is my first Christmas here. As with you, I like vbax, I like the atmosphere, I like the people, and I like the tyupe of questions, which often require a little more work to get a solution, but can be very enjoyable.

And PC or not, Merry Christmas everyone, or whatever celebration that is for you.

We've just had a local PC issue with a school headmaster sending out apologies for having too many "Christmases" in a newsletter, I say - what a load of poppy-cock!! - the sentiments are universal...

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! :santa: :rudolph: :xmas: :xnoel:

Merry Christmas One and All and Best Wishes for a Happy and Prosperous 2006!

Gregor .. I came from a Cobol/CICS background so I can assure you that the transition can be made! Many of your skills will help you once you get over a couple of initial hurdles.

Merry Christmas and a Great New Year

I couldnt help myself from letting my 1 cent here, so here it is:

As Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Birthday we cant forget to say a prayer. Just imagine for a few secounds if many people come to your birthday and start exchanging gifts between then, without giving anything for you. Would that be a good birthday for you? So dont let that happen to Jesus. Give him a gift. Which one? you choose. Help someone in need, say a prayer, ...

Late to the party, here folks. I actually took some real time off around Christmas to spend with family.

A belated Merry Christmas to all. For those of you who celebrate other holidays, I hope that they are/were happy and joyful as well.
