View Full Version : How to have excel add any new data in a pivot automatically

Good Morning, I have one of those weird excel things, I update data from a database and then refresh excel pivot tables. For example, when I refresh I have more dates added whic show as unchecked in the pivot and therefore have to check the date in the pivot and add them to the table. I have multiple tables and as you can imagine it would save time to have it on each refresh. Any thoughts?

I take it you have filtered that field, in which case in the filtering dialog there is an option at the bottom to automatically include new items, which you should check.
