Automatic Refresh

A question for the site administrators.

In the forums, threads that have an un-read message appear bolded. I was wondering if VBAX automatically refreshes pages from the server, or do we (I) always need to do an F5 when I come back to the VBAX tab? If it does do an automatic refresh, how often?

Unless you are on the New Posts search page, I do not believe the pages will auto refresh.

I've changed the settings in the system to refresh. There's not enough traffic here for it to matter, and if it does, then I'll host the site free. :)

This may be related, but when I first logged in just now, it had the spinning icons and new posts were showing...once I entered the excel forum, all posts were marked as read .....does the refresh mark all the posts as read that fast?
