inputbox vs excel shift + space shortcut

Hello,


While entering value in inputbox, pressing shortcut SHIFT + Space triggers row selection in active worksheet and enters the address of this selection to inputbox.
Any idea how to prevent from such event?


Showing the form, from which this inputbox is triggered with vbModal parameter stops this event, but for some reason I need to have this form displayed modeless.

If you are using a UserForm why do you need an InputBox as well?
