Does anyone know of an easy way to search for code across multiple documents?
I have a couple hundred coded Word templates and would like to be able to search for text strings within the VBA coding of those templates, all at once. Idealy returning a list of documents that contain the desired code.
I know I can open the documents up and search by module or project, but I have to go into each document project and repeat the search. Windows Explore allows you to search for text within a collection of documents, but it does not extend to the VBA code.
Alternatively, where does Word store the VBA code in a document and is there an easy way to extract it (in bulk), for indexing/analysis?
