Resize the Reading Pane in Calendar

My Reading Pane takes up too much of my vertical screen when I am in Calendar view. I believe this is because when I open the Calendar in a new window the window is not maximized and the reading pane takes up about half the space, but when I maximize the window the reading pane eats up all the extra space and gives none to the actual calendar.


I would like to know if it is possible to resize the reading pane (or calendar pane which I guess would implicitly have the same effect) using VBA or if anyone else can suggest an alternative solution to manually changing the reading pane size every time I open the calendar in a new window I am open to alternative solutions.
