Solved: Word 97 Options

Hi,

My problem seems simple but it is rather boggling to me. I've got Office 97 on Win 2K PE and I need the "Suggest from main dictionary only" option in the Tools>Options>Spelling & Grammar to be switched off. I've tried setting this option to off and exiting Word and restarting it to check the status. It shows in a blank document, but when I open an already created document, the option goes back to its original state of On. Is there a way I can keep this option Off for good, since I've got words in my Custom.dic file that are not shown when I come across a new word or bad spelling.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

This issue has been resolved by me. I went back to the macro I had created and found that the SuggestFromMainDictionary option was being turned on by the macro. Now there should not be any problem.
