Hi
If I create a PPT addin via a ppam file and open it loads fine. But close PowerPoint and reopen and the addin isn't installed. In Word and Excel there is an addin.installed property which allows the addin to persist when word or Excel are opened again. Is there an equivalent in PowerPoint?
Addin.loaded doesn't work.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

If you load the ppam from the Developer Tab it should persist.

Developer > PowerPoint AddIns > Load New

Is that what you are doing??

I always put all my addins in "C:\Users\userid\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AddIns" and use Option, Addins, PP Addins, Go and then just select the ppam

It's always loaded

28581

Same for Word and Excel addins

I rarely if ever need to check / set the .Installed property
