VBA and Budgeting

I recently started using VBA (Beginner's level), wondering how could VBA help me in preparing and analysing the budget. my budget is in excel file with many worksheets that feed in the main summary sheet.

Are you open to supplying a dummy version of your main file? Then you need to more clearly define what you need to do when you mean preparing and analysing the budget.

Do you even need VBA? Input the data into a table, and using pivot tables to analyse it.
