Compatibility

Hello,
I want to create an application in ppt, for teaching English. The file contains code and sound and is in ppt 2007.
Is it compatible with higher and lower versions of ppt?

If you save as a pptm file most things will work. Obviously newer features may not work but they won't work in the original 2007 either. mp3 sound in 2007 will not be embedded but can be in higher versions.

If you have a choice though I would use a later version.
