Converter Function

Just to satisfy my curiosity, am I correct in presuming that the Converter functionality built into Excel works only for converting from/to units within the same category (i.e., from cups to pints, etc)? As best I can tell it does not seem to work when attempting to convert across different unit categories (i.e., weight to volume), or am I just not doing something correctly?

if you just tested it using some other means
then you are correct. it will only convert on
same scalar quantity.

In the cas of weight to volume you need more than 1 variable.
