View Full Version : Flash In Powerpoint Problem

Hi

I have created a PPT presentation which has an intro slide that has a Flash animation on it. The Flash animation works fine when in Slideshow mode, EXCEPT that the presentation is then stuck on this page. No matter how many times the mouse is clicked, I don't get to Slide 2. Worse still, I can't exit the slideshow. To get out of it I need to Ctrl+Alt+Del, and close down Powerpoint in its entirity.

Does anyone know what the problem is that's causing this (which happens in PPT 2000 / Win2K and PPT 2003 / WinXP) The Flash animation was created in Flash MX2004 Pro, and by default it sets to save to FlashPlayer 7 compatability.

The only thing that I was thinking may be the cause of the trouble is that in the Flash animation, there is an ActionScript "Stop" on the last frame of the movie (to stop it looping round to the start again) Other than this I am clueless, and would appreciate any advice from others who may have experienced this before.

Thanks

Martin
