Yep, as of today, mr. and mrs. shades are celebrating 35 years of wedded bliss!

The night we got married it was -40 degrees (F).

We have moved 27 times, I am now on my 4th career... Don't know what I will do when I grow up, but I better hurry - our oldest grandson will be in college within 5 years. :bug:

Our life has been filled with tears of happiness, tears of sadness and heartache. But we have found the one constant through all of it: God's love for us in Jesus Christ.

I felt quite "proud" of that, until we got to worship yesterday. One of the couples in the congregation was celebrating 71 years of married bliss!!!! :p

Presumably, Mrs Shades wasn't expecting hell to actually freeze over when answering your proposal? Sounds like it's it's turned out OK so far.

Best wishes to you both :beerchug:
