In an idle moment I started to write a story (http://www.jollans.plus.com/Story.htm). Do you think I have a new career ahead of me?
I'm trying to put a web page up and this is just for fun but, leaving aside my dreadful writing style, do you like the idea?
You can be honest. It's doubtful I will finish it no matter what.

Hi Tony,
I've always enjoyed morality tales, and I think this qualifies. Career-wise? Don't give up the day job.
Given the title of the story, I'm afraid that the split infinitive in line one is a distraction from the serious underlying message of the tale and needs attention.

Oh dear! Contention from the very beginning :)
Can I claim dramatic licence?

I'm going to have to agree with Malcolm on this one. Programmer Extraordinaire is still your strong point. I like the font at the bottom of the page though.

Oh, I agree too! I'm a better programmer than a writer - which doesn't say much for my writing skills really.
I've never written a story, at least not since school, and I'm not quite sure where this came from - obviously it should go back there :yes
The trouble with the Bradley Hand font is that not everybody has it (it comes with Office - not sure which versions).
