Hi :hi: All,

Thanks again for all your help. My form is running smoothly.

I just had a thought to help even more:

In a form's dropdown form field, is there a way to select an entry by just typing in the first letter?

Example:
Marital Status: Married
Single
Divorced..... and so on.

Is there a way (a macro or a setting) that will enable to just click on the "S" to have the Single be selected????????

It would be a great help for the end user of our form. This form has a lot of dropdown fields. : pray2:

Thank you in advance.

Trudy

If you used ActiveX comboboxes instead, yes...there is a frmMatchEntryFirstLetter property.

 Okay??!!??

Thanks Gerry for the info.

I will have to look into that one. I never used any of the ActiveX stuff in any of my forms so far.

Is there an easy way to find a little macro that I could use and bend my my??

My dropdown boxes, sometimes, have a lot of entries and it would be great for the end user to be able to just use first letter.

Any help would be very much appreciated. In the meanwhile I am looking into the help files to see if there is something that will help.

Thanks again Gerry
