Save Each Page of a word merge doc

I have used vba,Vb.net & C# with excel but have never worked with word.

I have a mail merge that I need to save each page as a pdf file, i need to save it based on a merge field something like Dear << this >>. I have to do ASAP please any and all help appreciated.

While it does not cover making the PDF, there is a KnowledgeBase item that handles extracting every page of a merge. Please look in the KB.

There's a KB entry for Acrobat v5 here (http://vbaexpress.com/kb/getarticle.php?kb_id=789), but I haven't been able to find a satisfactory method for versions 6 or 7. Another option might be to lock the document once merged so that no changes can be made.
