Heya Jake!

Congratulations buddy! It is so well deserved!

And now I can stop calling you Jacob! ;)

So when is Anne going to talk to Bill about getting you published? (Then your salary will go up!)

To quote an old Texas phrase, "You done good boy!"

Smitty

(Sorry I've been scarce; babies, as I've found out, take a lot of time...No climbing at all...and work with budgets has taken most of Mr.Excel away, except for the occasional run-in with Zack (heya!))

Hey Smitty. Good to hear from you. While your baby may be a handful, I bet you are really enjoying yourself.

I was thinking about how I could help you out, so I wrote up a little VBA script for you. I haven't tested it yet, so it may need some fine tuning.

Option Explicit
Private Function BabyHelper(Feeding As Variant, _
Changing As Variant, _
Sleeping As Variant, _
Crying As Variant) As Variant

Dim Baby As Person
Dim Smitty As Person
Dim Days As Long
Dim Years As Long
Dim Hours As ReallyLong
Dim BabyTimer As Variant
Set Baby = "Campbell"
Set Smitty = "Smitty"
For Years = 0 To 5
For Days = 1 To 365
For Hours = 1 To 24
Do
If Baby.NeedsFeeding = True Then
Baby.Hunger = Baby.Hunger - 1
End If
If Baby.NeedsChanging = True Then
Set Baby.Diaper = New Baby.Diaper
End If
If Baby.Crying = True Then
Smitty.Baby(Holding) = True
End If
If Baby.NeedsSleep = True Then
Baby.Location = "Crib"
Smitty.FreeTime = TimeSerial(0, 0, 2)
End If
Loop While Baby.NeedsFeeding = True Or _
Baby.NeedsChanging = True Or _
Baby.Crying = True Or _
Baby.NeedsSleep = True

Next Hours
Next Days
Next Years
End Function

That was awesome, Jacob! (this is Smitty's wife, a.k.a. "Baby Buffet")

Is there some automated function you can come up with for bouncing, burping and singing? ;-)

Take care,

Cyndi

EDIT: Smitty (busy holding Campbell), said thanks and that whenever you have time to make it down to San Diego from "HellA", steaks are on us! :)

I'll try to add some pictures to my website this week, but time's short...:bawl www.cyndismith.com (http://www.cyndismith.com)

Congrats Jake. (Can they think up any more work for you?)
You more than deserve it. You put more work into this stuff than anybody I've ever seen.

As for Smitty & Cyndi's life since Campbell.... As fun as it is now, it will only get more fun. (And as cute as she is, you'll have your hands full in about 15 years!) Not to worry though. After raising 3 beautiful daughters, I've figured out the secret and I'll happliy share.....

Braces, a bad haircut, feed them lots of chocolate and hope for the worst! :wot
