Automate Google Calendar

Using CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP"), CreateObject("Msxml2.DOMDocument.4.0") and some string parsing I am able to format and display the RSS feed from our public Google Calendar [see attached image]. I would also like to automate creating calendar events. A good link for this is http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/calendar.html#add_event - however I am not proficient with multiple HTTP POSTS involving authentication.

Has anyone automated sending events; and would like to share some pointers or code. : pray2: Stan
